POLICIES FOR USE OF THE MEETINGHOUSE
Rental Policy: The church does not sponsor individual artists or groups; however we may decide to offer space to non-profit community events which align with our values.
Friends Meeting Room
Dining Room and Kitchen
Small room upstairs which has its own heating unit and can accommodate 12-15 people. This room could be available for rentals year-round for classes, meetings etc. Each event or rental request will be reviewed by our Ministry and Counsel committee. They may seek further clearness from the Monthly Meeting if necessary before finalizing arrangements.

Use of the church building $200
This includes a rehearsal previous to the wedding ceremony and use of the organ and/or piano.
A deposit of $50 is due when reserving the building, the balance to be paid by the date of the wedding rehearsal.
Use of the Dining Room Facilities for a Reception should be negotiated separately.
Pastor’s Fee: To be determined
Half to be paid at the first meeting, the balance by the date of the wedding rehearsal.
You may request our pastor to perform the ceremony or invite another pastor or justice of the peace to do so if you prefer.
Organist and Vocal soloists. We can provide some names. Fee to be determined with the musician.
Janitorial Fee $50 (Clean-up before and after wedding)
Due the day of the wedding rehearsal.
Decoration of the church
Make sure with us, before you finalize arrangements with your florist, that the church can be available at the time you want to do the decorating.
Be sure to make prior arrangement for the time you want the church to be open on the day of the rehearsal and of the wedding.
Please do not smoke or drink alcohol in the church building or on the church grounds.
We ask you not to throw rice or confetti on the church premises.
You are welcome to move pieces of furniture to accommodate your plans. Please put them back in place after the ceremony.
For events charging admission/registration: 10% of the door – $25 minimum.
When piano and/or organ used – $50 minimum
For concerts the fee includes rehearsal time on the day of the concert, up to five hours total use. Rehearsal on another day by prior arrangement $10 hour.
The dining room facilities are available for a $10 additional charge.
