Morning Meditation led by members of Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Winthrop.
On the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, Tina wonders, “Why would two giants of the Church share a day?!” Wouldn’t they each have a day unto themselves? As she discovered and shares, they do, that is in other times of the year. However, these apostles, share in their martyrdom by order of Nero in Rome. Tina turns to a sermon by the 12th century Aelred of Rievaulx (whose own feast day is commemorated on January 12th) to learn more about how the Lord turns weakness to strength in these pillars.
