St. Andrew's Episcopal Church

…a welcoming faith community of all ages in the service of Jesus Christ

51_ May 15, 2020 Morning Meditation

Morning Meditation led by members of Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Winthrop.

Are you seeking some peace, reassurance, a measure of safety? Friday’s meditation where Sandy shares a favorite daily Bible app that inspired her this week. From Is. 32:17-18 “The work of righteousness will be peace and the effect of righteousness will be quietness, confidence forever. My people will live in a peaceful habitation, in safe dwellings and in a quiet resting place.” Jesus says, “My peace I give to you. Don’t let your hearts be troubled, neither let it be fearful.” (Jn 14:27) In Jesus you have a quietness of the soul, coming from knowing God has your best interest. Matthew, Hebrews and John also speak to safety.
