Morning Prayer led by the Vicar, Amma Susan Taylor and supported by members of Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Winthrop.
The 7th Sunday after Pentecost we delve into The Parable of the Weeds. The disciples asked, “Lord, did you not sow good seed in the field?” We might ask, “Why does God allow weeds in the world?” The ‘kin-dom’ of heaven is an unkempt garden. May we ‘stay’ the hand that reaches to eradicate the weeds long enough to allow the Master Gardener’s hand at work. Amma Susan presiding and preaching.
